Blackmagic Design Teranex Mini - HDMI to Optical 12G

This edition of the Blackmagic Design Teranex Mini efficiently converts HDMI signals to 12G-SDI outputs or the other way around. And by installing a 3G or 6G optical module (not included), can convert HDMI to fiber. The smart HDMI port automatically adapts to the detected resolution and can handle a maximum of 4096 x 2160 (DCI 4K). The XLR and professional digital AES/EBU inputs support balanced audio, and since this converter can be integrated into an Ethernet network alongside other converters, it can be controlled via a Mac or Windows computer. As a convenient bonus, the Ethernet port also supports PoE (Power Over Ethernet).

When it's not part of a network, the Teranex Mini can be powered via the built-in 90-240 Volt power supply and an adapter (not included), and the unit can be set up via a series of dip switches. For more in-depth control, the front panel can be replaced with a Smart Panel, kitting out users with a control knob, a full-colour LCD screen, six control buttons and a menu button - granting access to video-conversion, timecode and audio level info.
